US President Donald Trump told supporters that his proposed wall on the Mexican border could hold solar panels.
At a rally in Iowa, he said the teams would provide cheap energy and help pay for controversial walls.
He suggested that the plan was his own and said: "Imagination is good, right? Okay? My thoughts."
However, solar panels have been included in the wall design submitted by the company.
During the campaign, Trump pledged to build a wall on the Mexican border to stop illegal immigration and drug trafficking.
He insisted that he would pay for Mexico, but President Enrique Pe?a Nieto had rejected the idea.
